What we do not use
This marketing website does not load a product-analytics SDK, an advertising pixel, or a social-network tracker. Allowing optional cookies in your browser will not cause this site to start tracking you, because the code that would do that is not present.
Account cookies are not set here. Signing in happens in the rider app, the driver app, and at admin.goosecabs.ca, under the Privacy Policy.
The notice you see
On a first visit we show a short notice at the bottom of the page. It does not block the page, and it can be dismissed in one action. It does not reappear on every page after that.
The notice exists so you are told, in plain language, what this site stores: a small preference so the message stays dismissed, and a background bot check on public forms.

- Legal pages opened from the apps with ?embed=1 do not show the site header, footer, or cookie notice, so marketing chrome does not sit on top of a policy you opened to read.
Changing your mind later
Cookie settings in the website footer opens the same notice again, with the inventory visible. That is a review, not a set of toggles, because there is nothing optional to toggle.
You can also delete gc_cookie_prefs_v1 in your browser, or clear localStorage for this site. The notice will appear again on the next visit. Blocking all cookies may affect whether the host can serve the page reliably.
Other sites you leave to
Links on this website can take you to another organisation, including app stores, admin.goosecabs.ca, Stripe, or a government page. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them.
The apps are different
The Goose Cabs rider and driver apps use device storage, account sessions, and the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy. That is a different surface from this website, and a different legal document.
If that changes
If we add first-party analytics to this website, two things happen together: the inventory on this page gains that entry, and the notice is shown again so you can see the new fact. Analytics on this property, if it is ever added, would be opt-out first-party measurement with a non-sensitive payload, as described in the Privacy Policy. It would not be an advertising cookie.
If we added advertising or cross-site tracking, that would be a material change. We would update this policy, update the notice, and obtain any consent the law requires before doing it. We have no plan to do that.
